In 2014, Ms. Wang Mailin, the honorary chairman of CSWA, and her husband donated 1 million Yuan to establish Wang Mailin Scientific Literature Award Fund in CSWA, supporting the establishment of Wang Mailin Scientific Literature Writing Award. In 2015, this award was granted for the first time and popular science writer Jin Tao won this award, demonstrating its extensive social impact and far-reaching significance.
The China Science Writers Association (CSWA) is a national, academic and nonprofit social organization voluntarily composed of science writers, together with science translators, critics, editors, artists, science and technology journalists, science and technology experts enthusiastic about science and technology writings, entrepreneurs, science and technology management cadres and relevant units.
